Bibi Bhani Ji Scholarship for Sikh Religion Examination (SRE)

Sikh Religion Examination (SRE) an objective / multiple choice test conducted every year for Sikh aspirants (Sikhi Sawroop) in May/June for the admission in to the following institutions as per the minority reservation policy :
• Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib
• Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Polytechnic College, Fatehgarh Sahib
• Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana
• Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College Ludhiana

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib (BBSBEC) offers Scholarship for SRE aspirants
SRE Rank Holder :
• 1st , 2nd & 3rd Position in SRE Test Rs 15000 each (only at the time of admission)
• 4th , 5th & 6th Position in SRE Test Rs 10000 each (only at the time of admission)
Regular scholarship
Avail Rs 2500 per semester (I to VIII semester) by maintaining “Sikhi Sawroop” and attendance of ≥ 75%
Special Note: The candidate will be eligible for only one entry level scholarship whichever is highest.

Baba Moti Ram Mehra Ji Scholarship for Fatherless Students of BBSBEC

1. Scholarship Amount: Rs. 15000 per semester, subject to the verification by the committee as per norms
2. Family Income not to exceed Rs 2.5 Lakh per annum
3. Annual family income certificate to be submitted every year to the committee to claim scholarship
4. Maintaining minimum attendance of 75% in every semester ‘with non-involvement in any disciplinary case and having no backlog or reappear in the preceding semester’
5. Submission of Death Certificate of father is mandatory

Baba Moti Ram Mehra Ji Scholarship for Low Income Group Students of BBSBEC

1. The eligible candidates must have an annual income less than Rs 2 Lakh
2. Annual family income certificate to be submitted every year to the committee to claim scholarship
3. Scholarship amount Rs. 10000 per semester, subject to the verification by the committee as per norms
4. Scholarship will be continued on attaining the attendance ≥ 75% with non-involvement in any disciplinary case and having no backlog or reappear in the preceding semester.

Bhai Gurdas Ji Scholarship for University Merit Position Holders of BBSBEC students

Top 3 positions in university examinations of any semester any course
1. First Position – Rs. 20,000/- for the applicable semester only
2. Second Position – Rs. 10,000/- for the applicable semester only
3. Third Position – Rs. 5000/- for the applicable semester only

Baba Zorawar Singh Ji Baba Fateh Singh Ji Scholarship for Excellence in Sports

Students who have earned a medal in International/National level
1. International level – Rs. 20000 for the applicable year only
2. National level – Rs. 10000 for the applicable year only

Diwan Todar Mal Ji scholarship for excellence in cultural events

Applicable to students who have shown achievements in Inter-University and Inter-Zonal level Cultural events
Benefits
1. Inter-University medalist Rs. 10000 for the applicable year only
2. Inter-Zonal medalist Rs. 5000 for the applicable year only

Fee Benefit for Siblings

Eligibility: Real brothers/sisters studying at the same time. The second admitted sibling is eligible for the concession up to Half the Tuition fee and will be applicable till the brother/sister is studying in the college. Renewal benefit to continue subject to fulfillment of following conditions by both the siblings.
• Minimum 75% level attendance
• Clearance of all regular examinations
• Non-involvement in any disciplinary case
