Three Students Selected in Mphasis

3 students of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib have been placed in a reputed multinational  IT  company, Mphasis, during state level engineering job fair held at RGI, Ropar from September 17 to September 21,2019.The students went through rigorous selection process having online test, technical interview and HR rounds to grab the positions of software engineer with package of 3.25 LPA. A total of 447 students from various colleges appeared for the placement drive, out of which 19 were finally selected. The selected BBSBEC students- Ms. Navjot Kaur, Ms. Neelam Rana and Mr. Harjeevan Singh are the final year students of Computer Science and Engineering Department. They expressed their happiness on this achievement and thanked the almighty and college authorities for giving this opportunity.

Major General (Dr.) G S Lamba, Principal, congratulated the students for their achievements. Dr. Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa (Professor & Head ,Department of CSE) said that it is a matter of pride for whole BBSBEC Community that students of the department are grabbing the good positions in the renowned MNCs. Dr. J.S. Oberoi (Dean T & TnP Cell) congratulated the students and motivated the students to prepare well and participate in placement drives with full enthusiasm. Prof. Manpreet Kaur and Dr. Sukhwinder Sharma, Training and Placement (CSE Departmental) Coordinators , also congratulated the students and told more such efforts will be done in the near future.
