Brief Update

As a part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), which is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, BBSBEC Fatehgarh Sahib has adopted six villages in the district. The villages are Mahadiyan, Saddo Majra, Kotla Bajwar and Mirpur.

The objective of the UBA team at our college is:

• To use the experience and expertise of the faculty, staff and students available in the college to improve the quality of the life of the people living in the rural areas
• To introduce the novel and affordable interventions
• To improve the skill development of the unemployed youth and further make them self-reliance
• To improve the quality of school education and further guiding about the new education policies
• To make people aware of new technological advancements in the field of agriculture, sanitation, health care, awareness towards digital India, and renewable energy use
