BBSBEC student won accolades in National Event
Ms. Simranjeet Kaur, B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) 3rd semester student of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib has won the first prize in Essay competition in ‘Online Youth Festival-2019’ held at Dera Baba Nanak (Punjab). This event was held from 4-25th Oct. 2019 to celebrate the occasion of 550th Prakash Purab celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. She was invited for Live stage performance regarding same at Dera Baba Nanak on 11th November, 2019 and was awarded the cash prize of Rs. 51000/- by the Punjab State Co-operation Minister, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
Main purpose of this award was to appreciate excellent achievements in various fields and motivate others to work hard for such future events. Maj.Gen.(Dr.)G.S.Lamba, Principal BBSBEC congratulated the student and CSE department for the same. Dr. Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa (Professor and Head, CSE Department) expressed immense pleasure for the noteworthy accomplishment of Ms. Simranjeet Kaur & motivated the students for participating in such events in future also.
