Webinar on “Data Science” organized by CSE Department, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College organised a webinar on “Data Science” on 8th February, 2022. The head of department, Dr. Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa welcomed the expert, higher forum members and delegates on the occasion. He emphasised the need of Data Sciences and how it has been used for predictive analysis especially during the covid times. The expert Dr. Supreet Kaur Sahi from Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Management and Information Technology (SGTBIMIT), Delhi, delivered a very informative lecture on “Big Data and Data Sciences”. Through graphical analysis, she also highlighted the job scenario in this area. The students were highly motivated and showed interest in taking up projects related to this field. Principal BBSBEC, Dr. Lakhvir Singh congratulated the CSE Department & the organizing team for their collaborative efforts leading to the success of such events.
