Posted By bbsbec1 on March 28, 2023Punjab & Chandigarh State Centre under the Aegis of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Division, IEI is jointly organizing All India Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Engineering Design and Technology” on May 2-3, 2023 in association / collaboration with Electronics & Communication Engineering department of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib. The main objective of this seminar is to make the people aware of the current technological advances in Engineering design and technology. This is an initiative to engage the researchers in wider discussions, share ideas with academics and researchers from other institutes, learn from their experiences, and develop strategies as per future trends.
The Institution of Engineers (India) or IEI is the largest multidisciplinary professional body that encompasses 15 engineering disciplines and gives engineers a global platform to share professional interest, IEI functions among professional engineers, academicians and research workers. It provides a vast array of technical, professional and supporting services to the Government, Industries, Academia and the Engineering fraternity, operating from 121 centers located across the country.
Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College was established in the year 1993 at the historical place of Fatehgarh Sahib under the patronage of SGPC and with the approval of Govt. of Punjab. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The college courses are approved by NBA and NAAC. The college has earned a reputation for its quality infrastructure, experienced faculty, placements and strong alumni base.
