On September 17, 2024, a total group of 60 MBA and BBA students from BBSBEC successfully completed an industrial visit to Hero Cycles, one of the largest bicycle manufacturers in the world, located in Ludhiana, Punjab. This visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the operations, manufacturing processes, and business strategies of a leading organization in the cycling industry.

Objectives of the Visit

  1. To understand the manufacturing process of bicycles.
  2. To learn about supply chain management and logistics in a large-scale manufacturing setup.
  3. To explore the marketing strategies employed by Hero Cycles.
  4. To enhance students’ knowledge of industry practices and challenges.

Activities during the Visit

The visit commenced with a warm welcome from the management team at Hero Cycles, who provided an overview of the company’s history, growth, and market presence. Following the introduction, the students were divided into smaller groups for a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing plant.
