Computer Science and Engineering Department of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib organized the Alumni Webinar “” under Alumni Interaction programme.The distinguished speaker for the Webinar was Er. Amanpreet Kaur (IT Administrator & DBA) from Wipro Technologies,Canada. She is proficient in troubleshooting, installation, scheduling and configuration tasks on various operating systems and databases. She did B.Tech in  Computer Science and Engineering (Batch-2003) from the host institute and  have  more than 13 years of experience in IT sector. She shared her past learning experiences of when she was a student at BBSBEC & told students about how to utilize time and seeking opportunities during the span of their course. She also gave inputs on how to prepare for the placements and job interviews. About 280 participants from all over India participated in the webinar. E-certificates were issued to the participants. The Webinar was conducted through the Google Meet platform.Video Live Streaming was enabled on CSE Department YouTube channel and Facebook page of BBSBEC.

Major General (Dr.) G.S.Lamba, Principal, appreciated the department for conducting such event. Dr. Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa (Professor & Head, Department of CSE) highlighted the importance of interaction of passout Alumni students & the role of such programmes in benefiting the current students.

Dr. Manpreet Kaur Arora(Coordinator,College Alumni Cell) encouraged the students to participate in these kinds of webinars. Prof. Sandeep Kaur Dhanda (Coordinator, CSE Alumni) was the coordinator of this event and also proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Baljit Singh Khehra, Dr. Jatinder Singh Saini, Prof. Puneet Mittal, Prof. Khyati Marwah, Prof. Gurleen Sidhu, Prof. Amanjot Kaur, Dr. Navneet Kaur, Dr. Supreet Singh also attended the webinar.
