Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The Department Agricultural Engineering is committed to-

  1. Introduces concepts and skills required for basic knowledge of agricultural field.
  2. Prepare base for further engineering courses.
  3. Inculcate moral and societal values amongst the students so that they could become socially adjustable beings.
  4. Give awareness about natural resources and their importance for life.
  5. Groom the personality of the students ,by improving upon there communication and soft skills .
  6. Consider the environmental consequences of their engineering activities

Program Outcomes (POs)

  1. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.
  2. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  3. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic
  4. An ability to function on interdisciplinary teams
  5. An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
  6. Competencies in relevant fields such as: biological materials, information systems, machine systems, modified environment design, natural resource systems, processing systems, and structural design
  7. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
  8. An ability to communicate effectively and the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
  9. An ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
  10. Proficiency in mathematics, through differential equations, and relevant engineering sciences consistent with the discipline
  11. Knowledge of appropriate agricultural, and/or biological sciences, and/or natural resource topics
