Vision of the Department

To become a centre of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering and allied research  and to produce competent and motivated` engineers who would contribute towards the betterment of society.

Mission of the Department

1. To mould the budding engineers into world class technocrats by ensuring enriched teaching-learning environment, state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructure.
2. To create skilled manpower to the manufacturing, teaching and Research and Development sector.
3. To inculcate ethical and human values in students during their transformation into professionals.
4. To develop real time problem solving capabilities in students through industrial trainings and collaborations.
