ISHRAE Students’ Chapter

1. Industrial visit to ‘Zamil Air conditioner India Pvt. Ltd.’ Baddi on 08/09/2015
2. Workshop on ‘Basics of Air conditioning and Refrigeration Concepts’ on 20th Jan. 2015.
3. The BBSBEC-ISHRAE student chapter has organized a one-day workshop on the basics of “Air Conditioning and Refrigeration(RAC)” on 11th Aug, 2016 for the final year students of Mechanical Engineering. The workshop was conducted by the president of ISHRAE  Chandigarh Chapter Mr. Cecil Akshai, Ex Hospital Engineer, PGI Chandigarh with 40 years of experience as consultant in HVAC industry.
4. BBSBEC-ISHRAE Student Chapter has reinstalled the chapter with an oath ceremony on 14th sep, 2016 under the able leadershop and guidance of President, Chandigarh Chapter of ISHRAE.
5. Conducted preliminary online test of ISHRAE students on 7th Oct, 2016 for their participation in Job Junction-2016.
6. Three students have been placed in different companies through Job Junction-2016 organized by ISHRAE during 9-11 Nov, 2016.
7. Conducted preliminary quiz competition of ISHRAE student on 4th Nov, 2016 to select a team for participation in National level quiz competitions.
8. 10 students of ISHRAE have been shortlisted for six months industrial training in HVAC Industries.
