“JOB FAIR 2017”at Baba banda singh Bahadur Engineer College: More than 100 students bag offers.
With an initiative to provide employment opportunities to the students of management and technical programs, the department of management studies planned and successfully executed “Job Fair 2017″ on 3rd of March 2017. The main objective of the fest was to serve as a model of technology by innovative teaching methods and to maximize the student’s potential by expanding the awareness of the educational career opportunities. More than 975 students were offered more than 150 vacancies spread across more than 15 companies in diverse portfolios. The placement process involved phase1 and phase 2 strategies. Phase 1 involves the written test of general aptitude in the shortlisted colleges falling within 50 Km radius of our campus. The MBA department skillfully designed and successfully conducted the aptitude test of 1 hr duration for approximately 1200 students. Phase 2 strategy involved the physical presence of the shortlisted candidates in our campus for the PI, GD round of the respective companies. More than 975 students gathered in the campus and were seen and observed appreciating the campus. Due care has been taken for extending their hospitality and entertainment for the waiting in queue students and the company officials. this job fair has proved to be real success as 108 students from different colleges including BBSBEC got shortlisted. We wish that in future we will continue to provide such excellent job opportunities to the students in their key skill areas. we wish them all the best for their future.
