2-days Python workshop for Faculty and Research Scholars being held at Department of Computer Science Engineering,Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib was concluded on 23, March 2018 . This workshop was organized by Department of Computer Science Engineering and Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering.This workshop was sponsored by Institution of Engineers. About 40 Faculty and Research Scholars from institute and other colleges have participated in the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to provide basic knowledge of Python and practical knowledge of its usage in the market. On the Final day, the session started with the interaction of Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Magma Research and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Ambala followed by Hands-on practical sessions. Dr. (Major General) G. S. Lamba, Principal addressed the students and encouraged them to participate in these kind of programs. After that there was valediction of the program where certificates were distributed to the participants. Er.Sukhvir Singh Mundi, Secretary, IE(I), Punjab and Chandigarh state center and Dr.T.S.Kamal, Fellow, IE(I) graced the occasion. Dr.Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa highlighted the need of python for research scholars. Dr. Baljit Singh Khehra, Head of Department , gave vote of thanks and spoke about the importance of the programme and also encouraged the faculty and research scholars to participate in such workshops.
