Computer Science and Engineering Department of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib organized the Webinar (12 August 2020) on the Topic “Blockchain: Adoption Trends & its Impact in times of pandemic” under the aegis of CSI Chapter. The seminar focused on historical knowledge of Blockchain Technology and its applications to solve specific problems. Expert for the Webinar was Dr. Ashish Seth (Professor CSE) from  Inha university in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Dr. Ashish Seth is an author, researcher, teacher and a consultant. He has been into academics for more than 17 years and have an exposure of working at various roles and responsibilities. The video lecture was LIVE streamed on the CSE Department YouTube channel. The Webinar was conducted using Google Meet platform. Around 180 participants from all over the India participated in the webinar. All the participants were awarded e-certificates.

Major General (Dr.) G.S.Lamba, Principal, lauded the efforts of department for organizing such event. Dr. Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa (Professor & Head, Department of CSE) emphasized the importance of the programme. Prof.Guleen Sidhu was the coordinator of the event.
