BBSBEC Student Selected in ‘ACM Internship Program’ at IISc Bangalore

Taranpreet Singh, final year B.Tech student (Computer Science and Engineering Department ) of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College Fatehgarh Sahib has been selected in ‘ACM India Winter School-2019’ at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Banglore (India) for ‘one-week internship program on Hybrid Cloud’. He has been performing the duty as a chairperson of BBSBEC ACM Student Chapter & also handling projects on cloud computing since 2018. The objective of this internship program is to provide hands-on training on new technologies including Hybrid Cloud. Prof. Perminder Kaur and Prof. Ravneet Kaur are Coordinators of BBSBEC ACM chapter.

Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G.S.Lamba, Principal BBSBEC congratulated the student and CSE department for the same. Dr. Kanwalvir Singh Dhindsa (Professor and Head, CSE Department) expressed immense pleasure for the selection of Taranpreet Singh & motivated other students for participating in such events in future also.
